Together with its naturally high oil and rubber content, this makes it extraordinarily weatherproof, long lasting and thus the ideal material for garden and conservatory furniture. Naturally rich in oleoresin, teak is highly resistant to warping and rotting and will last for many years without any special treatment.The teak used in the manufacture of Westminster furniture comes from ecologically managed plantations in Indonesia which are supported by Perum Perhutani certification ensuring that, far from being depleted and threatened, these wonderful species flourish and remain protected.This swing seat can be purchased with or without a seat cushion, which is available in a range of colours. The cushion is of a twin piped box design and the cover is removable for hand washing at 30°. A combination of foam and fibre top seat cushions and internally pocketed fibre filled back cushions are used on this range. The foam ensures the shape of the cushion is maintained, while the fibre top slightly softens the sit. Each cushion cover also has the advantage of being individually zipped to allow changing of the interiors if ever required. The whole piece is supported by a solid hardwood frame, and all joints are glued and stapled and block reinforced on the supporting points. For the finishing touch, it is sat on solid wooded bun feet. Combine all this with the top-quality cushions and high tensile serpentine springs in the base and the result is excellent comfort and support that lasts.
