This stylish, elegant single bedstead comes in four beautiful colours. Created from a simple, classic design, the Thorpe will suit either a traditional or a contemporary bedroom style. The Thorpe has been constructed with quality base metals and solid castings: this bed is the secure and supportive sleeping surface you can rely on. The Thorpe in yellow will brighten up any childrens room and the beautiful glossy ivory, satin white and satin black will complement any bedroom. Whatever your preference this timeless creation will both delight and inspire.The Thorpe comes with a choice of three different frame options. The Slatted frame, the most popular option, has a quality sprung beech slatted base for comfort and support. This frame is suitable for both open coil and pocket sprung mattresses. The Surround Frame is suitable for use with a divan set. The frame’s sturdy rails connect the head and footends of the bed, securing the divan in place. There is also the choice of the Universal frame, which comes without a footend, and therefore is the cheapest frame option. The Universal frame is fitted with sprung beech slats for extra comfort.The Thorpe frame is available with two height settings to suit mattresses of various depths and divans with different drawer heights. Maine Leather 3 Seater Sofa - Made using top quality full-grain leather, the stylish design of the Maine range works well to combine modern furniture design, with assured quality, and natural leather, adding a touch of class to any room. This range features classic rounded arms and shapely cushions, which offer supreme comfort as well as great looks.This range is produced using uncorrected full-grain top quality aniline hides, and two different finishes are available. The Forest range of leather is available in earthy tones and will create a very natural and elegant look. If you are after something different the Antique shades have a fabulous ‘worn-in’ look and will add a great vintage edge to any interior. The leather starts as the darker colour and is then hand rubbed to reveal the underlying lighter colour (click on one of the leather samples above to see this in detail). No splits or artificial leather are used on any part of the furniture, and each piece is uniquely handmade in the UK using only the finest raw materials. A combination of foam and fibre top seat cushions and internally pocketed fibre filled back cushions are used on this range. The foam ensures the shape of the cushion is maintained, while the fibre top slightly softens the sit. Each cushion cover also has the advantage of being individually zipped to allow changing of the interiors if ever required. The whole piece is supported by a solid hardwood frame, and all joints are glued and stapled and block reinforced on the supporting points. For the finishing touch, it is sat on solid wooded bun feet. Combine all this with the top-quality cushions and high tensile serpentine springs in the base and the result is excellent comfort and support that lasts.
